As an environmental protection technology brand under Guangzhou Yinhua Building Materials, Earppie has launched a "structure + material" dual-effect sound insulation solution to address the pain points in building acoustics. This article focuses on its star product - the 5CM environmentally friendly fiber perforated sound-absorbing board, combined with supporting materials such as Earppie damping sound insulation felt and aluminum alloy corner protectors, to reconstruct the wall dry-hanging construction standards and achieve full-process noise reduction from the base layer to the surface layer.

Construction Preparation

1. Optimization of Operating Conditions

On the basis of the traditional 1000mm horizontal line, a new "sound insulation layer thickness pre-planning" is added: if paired with Earppie 3mm damping sound insulation felt, a 5-8mm buffer layer needs to be reserved in advance on the wall to avoid sound bridge transmission. For professional scenarios such as piano rooms and recording studios, Earppie glass wool boards (with a sound absorption coefficient of 0.85) are used as the base layer filling.

2. Material Acceptance Standards

Focus on checking the "adhesive + pressure plate" double fixing system of Earppie sound-absorbing panels: The panel surface is pre-coated with a polymer adhesive (resistant to -40℃ to 90℃), and the matching φ6mm plastic expansion bolt pressure plate has an embedding depth of ≤1mm, ensuring the finish flatness is ±1.5mm. The aluminum alloy corner protectors are made of 6063-T5 profiles, with pre-punched holes matching the modulus of the sound-absorbing panels to reduce on-site cutting loss.

Application of Perforated Sound-Absorbing Panels

1. Base treatment (sound environment priming)

Flatness: Earppie sound-insulating leveling mortar is used, with the error controlled to be ≤ 3mm (better than the national standard of 5mm)

Vibration damping layer: Earppie butyl rubber damping sheets (2.4kg/㎡) are paved in areas with dense pipelines to cut off the transmission of pipeline vibrations

Moisture-proof layer: In humid environments such as basements, Earppie aluminum foil rubber and plastic insulation cotton (with a closed-cell rate of 95%) is added to provide both sound insulation and moisture resistance.

2. Layout Installation (Modular Construction)

Modular design: Based on Earppie 1200×600mm standard boards, combined with AI typesetting software, ensuring that the width of small boards at the internal and external corners of beams and columns is ≥150mm, and the joint error is ≤0.5mm

Quick fixing: 5 bonding points are pre-arranged on the board surface (with the dual effects of special plaster for粉刷 and back glue), and combined with T-shaped aluminum alloy pressing strips (with a wall thickness of 1.2mm), to achieve the dual guarantee of "adhesion + mechanical fixing

Internal and external corner treatment: Earppie's patented L-shaped corner guards (with a diversion groove design) are used to avoid right-angle reflected sound, and the measured noise reduction is increased by 3-5dB

3. Professional Node Enhancement

Door and window openings: Install Earppie three-layer composite sound insulation door stickers (sound insulation capacity 35dB) to form a continuous sound insulation interface with the wall sound-absorbing panels

Pipeline avoidance: Use Earppie's cuttable rubber and plastic insulation sleeves (full specifications with inner diameters from 6-110mm) to wrap the pipelines while maintaining the integrity of the sound insulation layer.

Ceiling connection: Use Earppie spring shock absorbers (vibration isolation efficiency 72%) to cut off the rigid connection between the ceiling and the wall, avoiding low-frequency transmission such as footsteps.

Full-cycle solution

1. Upgraded protection for finished products

Transportation: Yipai customized corrugated cartons (with built-in EPE buffer layer) are used to avoid collision of the edges of the boards.

Construction: Removable protective film is pre-applied to external corner areas, which can be peeled off without leaving any adhesive residue after completion.

Maintenance: Matching repair paste of the same color is provided (color difference ΔE≤1), allowing quick repair of local damages.

2. Scenario-based Application Guide

Home theater: The walls are made of 5CM mushroom head sound-absorbing cotton (with adhesive backing) + 1.2mm sound insulation felt, and the floor is paved with Yipai shock-absorbing floor mats (5mm thick)

School classrooms: Equipped with Yipai whiteboard sound-absorbing panels (writing surface + sound-absorbing layer) to meet the sound diffusion needs of teaching scenarios

Commercial KTV: Yipai glass fiber sound-absorbing panels (fire rating A) are used, combined with customized curved keels, to achieve 360° surround sound absorption.

Green construction

Environmentally friendly materials: All products have passed the EU CE certification, with a formaldehyde emission of ≤0.03mg/m³ (E0 grade)

Process emission reduction: Dry construction reduces dust emissions, and 100% of leftover materials are recycled to produce recycled sound insulation felt

Low-carbon certification: The construction process has obtained the "Green Construction Three-Star Certification" from the China Association of Building Energy Efficiency.

Summary

The dry-hanging process of Yipai perforated sound-absorbing panels is not only a standardized upgrade of traditional construction, but also a systematic practice of architectural acoustics. Through material innovation (such as self-adhesive backing, patented corner protectors), process optimization (modular layout, double fixing system), and scene adaptation (special plans for professional spaces), it achieves comprehensive benefits of "40% improvement in construction efficiency, 30% improvement in sound insulation performance, and 60% reduction in later maintenance costs". Whether it is residential, commercial or professional spaces, Yipai is redefining the value standard of wall sound insulation — making silence a tangible quality.
